For Inspiration: Valdirose

Irene Berni and her husband run the most idyllic Bed & Breakfast in Tuscany. Worth following for all around inspiration, table setting, recipes, style and general Italian living at it’s finest. Gorgeous photography, videos. It’s perfetto.

Bonus: You can actually stay there when visiting! And you should.

For Insight: Italy Segrata

Or “Secret Italy.” Easily my favorite resource for insightful articles about life in Italy. It’s been a resource for me personally as I’ve attempted to learn everything I can about the culture here. Gorgeous issues on Food, Relationships, where to stay and what to do while visiting. Highly recommend giving them a follow.

For Fashion: Valentina Barabuffi

I hate to even limit Valentina’s account to just fashion because she delivers on travel, food, love and just has a gorgeous eye for little moments of life in general. She always finds the best pockets or shimmering light where she is based in Florence, and is 100% a reason why I have to get down to Puglia ASAP.

For Food: Giulia Scarpaleggia

I fell in love with @JulsKitchen before we moved to Italy, actually. It was the beginning of lockdown in Italy and her posts about food and the quiet of that time at home gave me a lot of hope and love for a country I’d never even met. She and her recipes are so full of love and warmth and are the closest substitute I’ve found for transporting yourself to Tuscany. If you are lucky enough to find yourself traveling near her kitchen, be sure to sign up for one of her cooking classes.

For Fun: Kacie Rose

Fellow American expat (and fellow ex-dancer), Kacie Rose’s account is full of hilarious American in Italy moments that are 100% accurate and relatable. I especially love and appreciate her recent post on finding a hair salon you feel comfortable in (because that’s huge) and can relate to how scary it is ordering literally anything from the deli. Again, if traveling to Italy, check her out because she has an amazing Tourist Guide and even hosts her own tours throughout the country.
