If you’re anything like us, exploring tourist destinations like Rome during peak tourism months means two things: Crowds and Italian Heat.

Sure, two Floridians like us can handle it. But traveling to Italy during off season months, like January, can have its benefits. Less crowds, breezy alleyways, crisp blue skies (and yes some rain showers). Plus exponentially less expensive and fewer long lines. It’s worth foregoing the linen set and wearing that wool peacoat for… because yes, Rome is as impressive and grand as they say she is.
